Remedy's multiplayer PvE shooter, FBC: Firebreak, announced a livestream for next week. „Exciting news” could be anything, but what about a Switch 2 release?

Remedy Entertainment dropped a new trailer for their shooter, Control, three players venture into the Federal Bureau of Control to deal with various anomalies. The gameplay shown so far has proven that while it might fall into the usual multiplayer shooter category, it still maintains that trademark Remedy strangeness.

FBC: Firebreak’s new trailer shares plans for a livestream next week

The new trailer, titled the new console runs at the level of a “mid-tier PC.”

Earlier today, Civilization VII, and more. It seems like this could be a great feature to bring games that usually prefer a mouse and keyboard to the new console, primarily shooters and strategy games. “Exciting news” could mean a lot of things, so it’s probably best not to get our hopes up. Though, even if that isn’t announced in the coming months, it does seem like FBC: Firebreak is a game that could eventually make its way to the Nintendo console.

A previous trailer highlighted an outbreak of sticky notes, one of what seems like several possible missions available to play. Players will need to clear the office of constantly multiplying sticky notes, to the point that the notes will begin to cover a player’s screen. Then if a player dies while covered in sticky notes, they will return as an enemy humanoid made entirely of sticky notes. This new trailer showed glimpses of a mission against a pink ooze covering the office, a weapon that puts out fires, and even a player shooting a fire sprinkler to douse the flames off themselves.

With the livestream planned less than one week away on April 24th, it will be exciting to see what else Remedy has in store for FBC: Firebreak. The stream is scheduled for 10:00 AM Pacific Time on Remedy’s Twitch channel. FBC: Firebreak is planned to launch sometime this summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will also be free for PS Plus and Xbox Game subscribers.
