Developers from Starward Industries, known for the game Into the Fire. You can watch it below.
Initially announced as Dante’s Ring, the title was renamed to Into the Fire by the developers in March. The reason was the belief that "the new title conveys more about the gameplay and atmosphere present in the game."
The video footage shows the protagonist making his way to a city consumed by fire, situated beneath an erupting volcano. We see how he makes his way into one of the houses using tools such as a rope, hammer, axe, and tries to put out the fire using, among other things, a fire extinguisher gun. At the end, he carries the surviving person out of the building.
This will be the core gameplay of Into the Fire, a TPP survival game with RPG and roguelike elements. The game will offer a lot of diversity, including dynamically changing landscapes, an innovative arsenal, and retro-futuristic gadgets.
Furthermore, during the rescue operations, we will discover relics related to ancient legends, and we will also get to know a force whose "existence goes beyond human knowledge." We can take a moment to rest at the survivors' base, which serves as a hub. There, we will plan the next actions, gather information, and improve the equipment.
Into the Fire will be released this year in early access exclusively on PC. The exact release date isn't known.
