New Half-Life and Portal; Secrets Hidden in Files of Valve's Latest Game
Valve is working on „a lot of interesting games,” but what exactly? The answer may have come from the game files of the latest title released by the company.

The fact that Valve is working on new games is no secret - barely a week ago we were Aperture Desk Job, which refers to four unannounced projects.
Half-Life and beyond
To pre-empt any explosions of enthusiasm: no, there is no mention of Half-Life 3 in there but there is still something for fans of the iconic series. As reported by Tyler McViker (an informant well known to Valve Software fans), it's about four titles that have been appearing in rumors for a long time.
- Two of these projects are directly related to the last year (unofficially, of course).
- Judging by the information from ADJ files, work on Citadel appears to be well under way. New details indicate that the game will feature classes, weapon upgrades, and bots. The latter can be sent to the battlefield to accompany us in combat, and their behavior is to be determined by "mood" and "memory". McViker also reports that in addition to the multiplayer modes, we'll be getting a single-player campaign.
- Dataminers have also found mentions of a new Portal game, or, more specifically, a title recreating a project abandoned some time ago.
- The last game mentioned in the files is a port of clues were found that may indicate the work has been resumed since.
It should be ed that these types of mentions in game files are not definitive. Valve doesn't have to release any of these projects and so far hasn't mentioned a word about them. We can only hope that these four titles are among the "many interesting games" being developed at Gabe Newell's company.
