Steam Deck and Its Prototypes in One Photo
Valve has revealed images of Steam Deck prototypes. Some of them apparently take inspiration from the Nintendo Switch.

On February 25, Steam Deck went on sale and thanks to PC Gamer we can see how the portable PC has evolved behind the scenes. Valve has published photos that show early designs of the device.
Steam Deck Prototypes
The photo below shows the evolution of Valve's device. The company eventually decided on a design that deviated from the look of Nintendo's Joy-Cons, but we can see the inspiration in previous models.
It is worth noting that the photo shows white, red, and orange color versions, among others. Currently the Steam Deck is only available in black. This may be a harbinger of Valve's intentions to expand the Steam Deck range.
