Where to find the Taken Altar in Destiny 2

The Taken Altar that the Metastasized Essentia refers to can be found in Eris’s apartment in the Last City. It’s tucked between the bookcases and a room divider. The altar itself stands out as a strange-looking totem with a dark orb inside.

However, you’ll need a total of 10 Metastasized Essentia items to make an offering at the Taken Altar. The rewards you receive from the altar can vary, ranging from powerful legendary weapons to valuable currency and rare materials.

To collect Metastasized Essentia, you’ll need to explore the Nether, where these items can be found scattered in random locations. Some are hidden in secret chests, so be sure to search thoroughly. Additionally, the number of Essentia you find can depend on the difficulty level you’re playing on – higher difficulties may give you more during various activities.

Been with gamepressure.androidapks.biz since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
