How to start Season of Witchcraft (SoW) in Diablo 4
To start Season of Witchcraft you must find Gelena in Gea Kul, she is by the sea, near a pier. Theoretically it’s pretty simple – all you have to do is locate the correct mission on the map and go to it. However, some players report problems. The NPC that allows you to start the story does not spawn and new missions do not appear. Of course, as a result, fans can’t start this quest.
Fortunately, Blizzard's Community Manager arrived to the rescue, explaining how the questline works. The solution to this problem is very easy.
- If you bought Vessel of Hatred DLC, you need to complete Prologue of this campaign (if you didn’t choose to skip it). Community also pointed out that the quest must be completed on the character on which you want to play Season of Witchcraft.
- If you don’t have this DLC, you have to complete the base game prologue and then skip the campaign.
So, all you have to do is to finish one of the Prologues. It should not take you long. Good luck.
