How to unlock characters in Elden Ring Nightreign. Duchess and Revenant are waiting
Duchess and Revenant are on your list of classes to play in Elden Ring Nightreign? First you need to unlock them, and we'll reveal how to do it.
After months of anticipation, fans of soulslikes can finally play the latest game from FromSoftware studio - Elden Ring Nightreign. This is an interesting production from the perspective of a fan of the genre because it focuses on multiplayer experience. Moreover, instead of creating our own character, we will be playing with ready-made, predefined classes. There are 8 of them, however, not all will be unlocked immediately. Duchess and Revenant are unavailable at the very beginning. Don’t worry, though, we will tell you how to unlock them.
How to unlock Duchess in Elden Ring Nightreign

Duchess is a class that specializes in mobility. She is also able to camouflage her entire team to escape undetected from a dangerous place, or quietly stab unsuspecting enemies in the back. The class is ideal for those who enjoy fast-paced gameplay.
To unlock the Duchess, you will have to find a certain relic, which is called Old Pocketwatch. Don't know how to get it? Well, all you have to do (as if it were such a simple task...) is defeat one of the first Night Lords, namely Gladius, Beast of the Night. Go to Tricephalos Expedition to fight this boss, but rest assured, you can’t miss this combat, as this map is the only one available to you at the beginning of the game.
Once you have defeated the boss, you will receive the previously mentioned relic. Return to the Roundtable Hold and talk to the Priestess. There you will see the option: “Show her the old pocketwatch”. This will unlock the Duchess and you will be able to play her on future expeditions.
How to unlock Revenant in Elden Ring Nightreign

The Revenant, the last class that has been revealed, is also not available from the beginning. It specializes in summoning. The process of unlocking this character is a bit longer, as you have to get Duchess first.
Then, collect 1500 Murk and buy an item named Besmirched Frame in the Small Jar Bazaar. When you do so, you should notice a female ghost-looking figure in the Roundtable Hold. Interact with her.
You will be transferred to the Night Idol boss arena. There you will fight not only against Revenant, but also her summons. When you defeat her, you will unlock this class and will be able to play it on future expeditions.
