Who wouldn't want to feel like they're in a real zombie apocalypse and try their hand at this world, fighting for survival as long as possible? HumanitZ allows you to immerse yourself in this experience, however, for the moment, only on PC. What then for console players, who are still waiting for this game to appear on platforms such as PS5, Xbox or Switch (maybe even Switch 2)? That's what you'll find out in our article.

HumanitZ console release (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch) explained

HumanitZ is a survival game set in a world overrun by Zombies. It made its debut on September 18, 2023 as Early Access on PC. The title has been ed and updated with new content since then. Yet, despite the age of more than a year and a half, the production still hasn't reached version 1.0, which would bring EA to an end.

So, can we expect the game to be released on other platforms in the near future? The answer is: it depends. Namely, on how high the sales results will turn out on PC and whether they will be satisfactory enough for the developers to actually think about a console version. It is an official information from the developers themselves, as they published in FAQ.

What's more, since HumanitZ is still in Early Access, it's safe to assume that the developers will focus on various ports only after full release. Dealing with the console version now would slow down the process of finishing the game. Moreover, it is hard to tell whether the potential ports (if they will ever be produced) will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S or also on old consoles like PS4, Xbox One, as FAQ mentions generally PlayStation and Xbox. However, at the same time, it means that Switch and Switch 2 are not taken into consideration. At least not anytime soon.
