Keep Driving is coming to consoles after a successful launch on Steam. YCJY Games devs reveal the 2025 roap with new content ahead
The journey continues as Keep Driving gears up for improvements. New updates, more localization, and console plans have been announced.

Keep Driving blends RPG, adventure, and resource management, throwing us into a cross-country road trip packed with challenges and unexpected encounters. Released in February, this indie gem has been killing it with reviews, sitting at a solid 94% positive on Steam. Critics love it too, nearly giving it top marks. Looks like pixel art and that early 2000’s vibe are still a winning combo in games. Since launch, it's mostly been getting patches, but now there's a roap teasing what’s next.
New content, localization, and console ports ahead
A lot of people have been asking the two devs over at YCJY Games about the possibility of adding more localization options to Keep Driving and whether the game might eventually be ported to consoles. After getting so many questions, they decided to share some answers with their fans. On March 27, they revealed a detailed roap for 2025, giving us a glimpse of what's to come.
Four updates will include:
- April – new content and controller .
- May – smaller new content.
- Late summer/early fall – more localization options (Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian).
- Late fall/early winter – console ports.
As for the console releases, the devs haven’t clarified exactly which consoles the game will be available on yet, but they mentioned that:
Switch is most likely going to be included.
The devs also shared that they’ll be working with Juju Adams, a GameMaker expert, for localization and porting. Because of this, they’ll be slowing down on content updates and releasing fewer this year.
