LEGO Pays Tribute to NES
LEGO has decided to release a new set of bricks that will enable us to build a NES console model with a hand-scrolled screen TV. The whole set will consist of 2646 elements and cost $229.

Today LEGO presented a new set of bricks, enabling us to build a model of NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) console. The set consists of 2646 elements and will be available for purchase from August 1 for $229. In addition to the console (including cartridge slot and controller), the set also includes a TV with manually scrolled screen, which displays an 8-bit Mario character. Additionally, owners of the figure (from another set) will be able to connect it to the receiver, so that the hero will respond to what is happening on the screen. You can watch the presentation of the entire set in the video below.
