Metal Slug Tactics Announced at Summer Game Fest
Metal Slug Tactics, a tactical turn-based shooter and is a spin-off of SNK's classic series of arcade shooters was announced during Summer Game Fest.

One of the first new games revealed during Summer Game Fest 2021 turned out to be a big surprise. SNK and DotEmu announced Metal Slug Tactics, a tactical turn-based game that is coming to PC. No release date was given yet, but we know that the project will be available on Steam.
According to the title, the game is a spin-off of the classic series of arcade shooters. The new incarnation of the franchise will offer isometric battles. Despite the change of genre and camera, the project will retain the specific visual style of the best installments of the series.
During the game we'll control a squad consisting of characters well known to the fans of the franchise, such as Marco, Eri, Fio and Tarma. Music will be composed by Tee Lopes, whose works appeared earlier in such games as Sonic Mania, League of Legends and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.
