The previous sentence should probably read “Why it’s not available there yet?”, as everything shows that Shiny Shoe’s new title has a really high chance of eventually making its way onto our pocket computers. The reason why we are quite confident that it will happen is that the previous instalment of the series debuted on iOS back in 2022, and Android version has launched just this month (May 2025) and is off to a good start.
Considering the information above, we have to brace ourselves with patience, as though Monster Train 2 might become a thing on mobile devices, it can still take a while for it to happen. Of course, it all depends on what the developers decide is the best for their title, yet without a doubt community’s voice matters. However, there is one more thing to keep in mind. Even when such port happens, you need to know that you will have to make progress independently on all of the platforms, as the game does not cross saves. This means that if you have progressed a lot on PC, for example, you will have to start from scratch when you decide to play on another device, like Nintendo Switch, or iOS, if it eventually happens.
