New Eve Online FPS and 4X Strategy Game Announced
C Games has announced that it is working on a tactical FPS and 4X strategy set in the EVE Online universe.

EVE Fanfest 2022, this year's event for fans of the space MMO EVE Online, launched yesterday. During the opening ceremony the studio responsible for the brand, C Games announced that they are working on two new spin-offs - a network shooter and a strategy game.
New network shooter in EVE Online universe is is the pipeline
The shooter is in the pre-production phase, so only a few details were revealed.
- The project will be a tactical online FPS.
- No target hardware platforms were provided.
- The game is being developed in the London branch of C Games.
- C London is headed by Adrian Blunt, who previously managed the team responsible for Dirty Bomb. So he has a lot of experience in creating network shooters.
- Currently, the studio is rapidly increasing its crew to move into the full production phase.
It's worth mentioning that it won't be the first FPS set in the universe of EVE Online. In 2013 a spin-off called DUST 514 was released on the PlayStation 3. The game stayed on the market for three years before its servers were shut down.
After that, there were two attempts to develop a PC FPS from the brand. The first approach was Project Nova. Both projects were canceled before the release. I hope that the studio's next FPS will have more luck.
Strategy game set in EVE Online universe is coming
The second spin-off, for now functioning under the name Project M5 is also in pre-production, so C Games only shared a handful of details about it.
- The game is supposed to be a space 4X strategy focused on multiplayer games.
- The game will be released on mobile devices.
- The project is being developed at the C Games branch located in Shanghai.
- The developers' goal is to recreate the conspiracies, pacts and battles for territories, for which EVE Online is famous, in the form of network strategy.
In this case, too, this is not the first approach of C Games to a game of this type. A few years ago they announced a mobile strategy MMO EVE: War of Ascension, but this project was also scrapped before the release.
