Ninja vs. Twitch - Streamer's Old Channel Used to Promote Porn

Ninjy's old Twitch profile was used to promote the most popular live streams. Unfortunately, latest night a channel broadcasting pornographic content was very popular and thus appeared in the proposals on the streamer's website.

Ninja is not happy with the way Twitch is using his old channel.

Not so long ago we wrote about the successful debut of streamer Ninja, who decided to give up Twitch in favor of Microsoft's Mixer platform. Unfortunately, not everything went as smoothly as he wanted it to, because his old channel was accidentally used to promote a stream with adult content.

Until today, his Twitch wasn't showning his old broadcasts or saved clips, but was used as a platform to display the currently most popular live channels. This fact alone was quite out of place, due to the fact that it was the first case of its kind where a streamer , which had moved to another platform, was used to promote other streams. Maybe that's how Twitch wanted to make up for the loss after Ninja left.

This is what Ninja's profile looked like before the events of last night night.

Now add to that the fact that last night one of the channels broadcasting pornographic content gathered more than 14 thousand s in front of monitors, which automatically made it one of the most popular live broadcasts, which thus appeared on Ninja's ex-profile. In other words, when entering the channel, the first proposal displayed was a transmission for adults (here you can see how it looked like, but we warn you that the picture contains a fragment intended only for adults).

Of course, this type of content is against the rules of the service, and as to how did it happened that Twitch istration took so long before the channel was completely blocked, it will probably remain a mystery forever. The streamer itself had no influence on the fact that this particular transmission appeared on his former profile, yet he apologized to his fans for what they saw.

Ninja also adds that the whole problem wouldn't be even there if his channel was normally closed, as he asked, and it wasn't used to promote others. Fortunately, Twitch CEO Emmet Shear personally apologized to the streamer and since then his profile on the platform has returned to normal.
