PoE 2 rival is getting ready for big changes that include new faction and popular class redesign. Last Epoch is one step away from a new opening
The developers of Last Epoch are trying to heat up the atmosphere before the start of Season 2. They presented the new faction and changes in the Sentinel class.

Hack'n'slash genre fans are mainly focused on Last Epoch to run away, but developers at Eleventh Hour Games studio are using the time to increase player interest in content.
New faction and echoes
We have known for quite some time that the second season will introduce a new faction called The Woven to Last Epoch, which is closely related to two additional types of echoes in the monolith.
- Tombs of the Erased - procedurally generated side zones, inside which we will find imprisoned souls. Releasing them will result in the possession and strengthening of nearby enemies. At the end, a boss will be waiting, defeating whom will allow us to buff our "idols."
- Cemeteries of the Erased - will offer greater challenges and rewards than tombs, and at the end, we will find an altar that allows for the "manipulation of the current timeline."
We we'll get access to the The Woven faction after finishing the first cemetery. Progression in its hierarchy will occur through the release of a new currency, Memory Amber, which we will acquire in the previously mentioned locations.
Progress in the faction will grant us extra points to spend in the Weaver Tree, which works like skill trees. It will impact different aspects of the monolith, like boosting the likelihood of certain rewards appearing or altering the frequency of specific enemies showing up.
Sentinel class rebuilt
In the latest post on the Last Epoch page, the developers discussed the overhaul of the Sentinel class in detail. It includes modifications to skills and development trees, with a major one being the total rebuild of the Volatile Reversal ability.
Starting in the new season, it will operate as a melee attack that teleports the character to a chosen spot, deals damage, and then—if desired—returns them to the original position, dealing damage once more. The skill tree of this ability has also been rebuilt, giving it additional customization options.
However, that's not all, as many other skills used by Sentinel have also been changed. This should increase their efficiency, enabling us to adapt more effectively to the game mechanics. On the other hand, modifications to the ive skill tree will provide the character with more diversity and options to tailor it to your own play style and abilities.
The devs also described in more detail a new ability for the Rogue class called Heartseeker. It enables shooting an arrow that targets the opponent's heart and can strike the same target repeatedly. Several of its modifiers were also presented, which give various effects and make the ability much more interesting.
The second season of The Last Epoch will start on April 17th. The game is available exclusively on PC.
