Reka is an indie game which will allow players to become a witch. If you want to learn secrets of famous Baba Jaga (we don’t mean John Wick here, obviously), it is a good option for you. You will be able to help lost souls, discover various herbs and even build your own house. The title will be available in a few days (12 September) on PC. What about consoles, though?
Reka – Console (Xbox, Switch, PS5, PS4) Release
As of now, the game is supposed to hit PC and that’s all. However, in the FAQ section on their official Discord, creators informed that they would like to Steam Deck at some point during the early access. What about other consoles? It is unknown. The good thing is that controller is on the “to do” list. However, it does not mean that the game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch in the future.
Of course, we may hope that it will happen. We assume that the crucial in this case will be a number of players on Steam. If the game becomes popular enough and the demand is high, the game will most probably be available on consoles at some point. It will not be soon, though. Most likely, after the early access period, which as we know can be quite lengthy in some cases. At this point Steam page states that the game will be in EA “for the majority of 2024”. Taking into consideration that the release is in September, we may assume that EA will take at least part of 2025, too.
