Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy looks a bit like Borderlands on these screenshots
A bunch of screenshots from Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy have emerged online. It seems that in the next game from Telltale the artwork is gravitating a bit towards the Borderlands series.
Telltale Games has revealed the very first screenshots from The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier. True, the progression of the graphics in Telltale’s projects is slow, but with every new installment they seem to be getting a bit more detailed and better-looking. In fact, their Guardians of the Galaxy seems to be less cartoonish and more Borderlands-ish. Take a look yourselves:
As always, the game will focus on storytelling, featuring a band of colorful characters known from Marvel comics. These heroes will be voiced by experienced actors: Scott Porter (Lukas from the second season of The Wolf Among Us) as Groot.
The first episode of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will be available digitally on PC, consoles and mobile devices in 2017, but there is no specific date of release yet. As usually, there will also be a boxed version containing the first episode and a digital to the subsequent four chapters.
