The Game Awards is one of the most important events in the calendar of every lover of digital entertainment. The biggest and best gamedevs meet there, and thousands of people from all over the world watch the live stream from the gala. It is therefore a great opportunity for creators to present their new titles for the first time. In previous years The Game Awardswas full of interesting announcements. This year will be no exception in this respect. During yesterday's AMA session on Reddit, Geoff Keighley, a well-known journalist and creator of the event, shed some light on the subject of announcements:
"We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show -- I think there are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet."

Of course, Keighley did not reveal any major details, which gives rise to numerous speculations. What is certain is that at The Game Awards 2019 the next game of the founder of Arkane, Raphael Colantonio and his new team at Wolfeye Studios, will be remake of Resident Evil 3 and emphasized:
"As always the Internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show... but it sure is fun to read :)"

However, we should not forget that The Game Awards is primarily a gala of prestigious awards. The list of nominated productions and personalities from the game world can be found here. The winners will be announced next week. The event will start on Friday, December 13, at 4:30 PM (PT).
