The Witchbrook release date was finally revealed at today’s Nintendo Direct. Get ready to become a real wizard or witch this winter
Finally! Buckle up for Witchbrook – a mystical, cozy life sim coming to Nintendo Switch and PC this year.

I'm absolutely delighted to share some great news with everyone who's been eagerly waiting for updates on Nintendo Direct, we finally have a release window – Witchbrook is coming in Holiday 2025! Looks like my end of December is sorted.
A magical academy adventure awaits
Witchbrook is officially coming to Nintendo Switch (and probably to Switch 2 as well) at the end of the year, and it's likely to launch on PC on the same date. As for the other consoles, we’re not totally sure yet.
Not much time left until we can finally start our school year at a magical academy in Mossport. From brewing powerful potions and competing for the top spot in class to taking part in mysterious rituals, there's a lot to look forward to. And of course, plenty of quirky, colorful characters to date.
Our home will be a cozy woodland cottage with a garden, and we can even start a business to help locals and fund our studies with the profits. The game will up to 4 players for some online co-op fun.
If Chucklefish, the studio behind Witchbrook, sounds familiar, it’s because they published Haunted Chocolatier, it’s going to offer a totally different experience compared to the usual farm sims we know.
I’m really hoping Witchbrook breaks the trend and doesn’t get delayed the Hobbit game got postponed.
