“They Weren’t That Great.” Topher Grace Pointed Out a Major Problem of the Early Days of That ’70s Show, Which He Blames on the Main Cast

That '70s Show was a sitcom in which many young actors, now stars, took their first steps. It was one of the first such big roles for them, in what Topher Grace, one of the show's stars, sees the problem of the first episodes.

Being a guest on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Grace stated that the entire young crew was inexperienced, which was evident from them. The actor noted that they didn't have much acting experience at the time, which was reflected in their performances on That '70s Show, and thus also reflected in the quality of the TV series, at least at the very beginning.

In his statement, the actor did not try to criticize his co-stars, but only pointed out that they were taking their first steps on the set of That '70s Show, just gaining experience, and therefore their acting was not yet at a high level.

Topher Grace, however, spoke proudly of That '70s Show, which found its rhythm over time, as did the actors who appeared in the sitcom. The production was a big success, which also proves that despite the beginning, which was a challenge for the actors, they managed to create something good that lives on for years, as fans still and watch That '70s Show today. In addition, the TV series lived to see a spin-off – That '90s Show.
