Like in Tank build, the most important stats for Paladin are Strength and Wisdom. They boost:

Max Health and Health Regeneration.
Defense.
Damage Output.
Maximum Mana and Mana Regeneration.
Cooldown Speed.

Focus on Strength first, but don’t forget to allocate some of your points to Wisdom.

Best Defense Skill

Shield Survival Technique – Restores health, reduces incoming damage and provides a temporary shield.

Best Active Skills

Shield Strike – Has a short cooldown and it's a useful option for dealing extra damage.
Swift Healing – Restores health to an ally and can be used up to 2 times in a row.
Curse Explosion – Deals damage and inflicts negative effects on a target.
Corrupted Magic Circle – Creates an area that inflicts Weaken effect on every enemy who enters it.
Karmic Haze – With a high probability, this ability transfers the active curse from the target to up to three other enemies within a 5-meter radius.
Blessed Barrier – Creates a 5-meter radius area in the designated direction, increasing Magic, Melee, and Ranged defenses for allies who enter. During the day, healing received is increased, while at night, Magic, Melee, and Ranged Endurances are enhanced.
Strategic Rush – Rush forward, inflicting damage and knocking enemies back with a high chance of success. Enemies pushed into walls are stunned for 2 seconds.
Counter Barrier – Temporarily increases shield block chance. Dodging or blocking an attack trigger a counterattack.
Chain Hook – This skill will draw enemies closer to you and significantly reduce their movement speed. When used on monsters, it will pull you towards them.
Shield Throw – Hurl a shield that deals significant damage to all targets in its path. Hitting enemies boosts Magic, Melee, and Ranged Heavy Attack chances, while greatly increasing aggro toward the target.
Annihilating Slash – Powerful AoE attack. If used on Weakened targets, deals additional damage.
Fierce Clash - Deal damage to the target and have a high chance of pushing them back. Additionally, any enemies that collide with the target will also be pushed away

Skillful Evasion – The closer you are to your attacker, the more likely you are to evade ranged and magic attacks.
Resilient Mind – Evading or blocking attacks restores mana.
Full of Corruption – Increases Max Damage and Mana Regeneration for 9 seconds when enemies affected by the 's Weaken effect are defeated.
Spectrum of Agony - Every time you successfully attack a target that is currently provoked, the duration of the effect is extended. Additionally, this attack will also deal damage to all other targets that are currently provoked.
Garad’s Patience – Successfully evading an attack, blocking with a shield, or blocking with a defensive skill increases CC Resistance for 3 seconds. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
Vampiric Contract – Restores a portion of an ally's health equal to a percentage of the damage dealt to a target affected by the 's Curse. If no allies are within range, the healing effect is applied to the instead.
Morale Boost – Forcing the target to collide with another enemy will decrease the remaining cooldown of all skills. Each additional collision in the chain will further reduce skill cooldowns.
Selfless Soul – Casting buffs with used skills increases mana regen and skill healing. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
