Ubisoft Canceled Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR and Two Other Games
Ubisoft has announced the cancellation of work on four games. Two of them were never announced. The others are Splinter Cell VR and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Frontline.

During today's presentation of financial results for Q1 2022/23 Ubisoft announced the cancelation of work on four games, including Splinter Cell VR and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Frontline. The games were to be canceled due to the "changing financial environment" (via VGC).
Ghost Recon: Frontline
Definitely more interesting is the case of Ghost Recon: Frontline, which has been sparking considerable controversy since the Ubisoft decided to delay closed beta testing of the game on the eve of its launch - in theory to fine-tune it.
However, a few months later, rumors surfaced online that the the project had been rebooted. Now we know that it was canceled, and the Ubisoft Bucharest studio responsible for it will deal with something else.
Sam Fisher's crocodile tears
The same is true of remake of the first game - are unlikely to be angered by this decision.
Ubisoft Massive, on the other hand, will be able to concentrate on developing Star Wars game.
We don't know anything about the other two of Ubisoft's four canceled titles and it will probably stay that way.
