Ubisoft Enforces Zero Tolerance Policy, Punishes Thousand of Cheaters
Ubisoft has announced the punishment of nearly 19,000 players whose s were allegedly using an „unfair exploit.”.

Nearly 19,000 s have been penalized after Ubisoft discovered that they were using an "unfair exploit." As part of its "zero tolerance" policy for cheaters, the developer responsible for, among other things, Rainbow Six: Siege, the Assassin's Creed series, or The Division, published a statement explaining the situation:
Earlier in Ubisoft's announcement, one could read about 12 thousand penalized s, but after a short period of time, this number was updated.
At this point it is not known which Ubisoft games have been affected, although one of them may be Rainbow Six: Siege - On Reddit, in the r/Ubisoft thread, some R6S players reported, that they received codes for two-factor verification, despite the lack of attempts on their part.
The correlation of the two fact seems doesn't seem to be a coincidence, but meanwhile it remains to wait for more information from the developer to be able to say something with more certainty.
