11 bit studios revealed its new strategy. The company intends to bet on single-player titles.

11 bit studio, responsible for The Alters, organized a conference where they presented the company's development strategy.

The team will focus on single-player games. This doesn't mean there won't be social elements or multiplayer modes, but these will merely complement the main attraction, which is intended to be single-player gameplay.

Three pillars of 11 bit studios

The further development of the company will be based on three pillars:

Pillar A refers to games based on new or selected IP of the company. These projects will be produced by the internal teams of 11 bit studios. The company wants these type of games to be created by teams of 30-60 people, and their development is expected to take about 4 years.
Pillar B is the development of the company's popular games. The key here is for a given production to maintain a large player base and for new features and expansion to be developed in a relatively short time.
Pillar C is the publishing of games from other studios. Their budgets are expected to be between 1 and 2 million dollars. One of these projects is waiting for an announcement.

By the way, 11 bit published a report with financial results. Last year, the company generated revenue of approximately 140 million PLN (about 37 million bucks). The operating activity resulted in a loss of 2.8 million PLN (about $700,000), while the net profit was just under 6.9 million PLN (about 2 million dollars).

During the conference, a handful of additional pieces of information were also conveyed.

The Alters is the second most frequently added game to the wishlists of Steam s from 11 bit studios (Frostpunk 2 remains the leader). The game is set to take about 25 hours to finish.
Moonlighter 2 will be available on Game from the moment of its release.
Work has already begun on the next new game (P12) from the studio. Next in line are P13 (from the team behind Frostpunk 2) and P14 (from the creators of The Alters).
In May, there will be an event for industry media.
