PlayStation State of Play presentation scheduled for tomorrow, February 12th, confirming rumors

There are a lot of games that could show up at this presentation. But let’s make sure to set some expectations. We will not see any hint of Naughty Dog’s new title, Wolverine, so keep expectations low on that front.

Something that could make this a noteworthy presentation is the potential for Xbox games making an appearance. Age of Mythology: Retold are also confirmed to arrive on the PS5, making this a good opportunity to share that news directly with PlayStation fans. Or maybe there is a surprise in store that will shock everyone. Seeing Xbox and PlayStation come together like this could be a truly historic event for a video game community torn apart by console wars for so many years.

A few things are more reasonable to expect. An update on games expected to launch this year like Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is likely, even if it’s just to announce a delay. leaked release date last week, so if that information is correct, it would make sense to officially announce it during this presentation.

PlayStation also has more live-service shooters to talk about. Between Fairgame$. Hopefully they have learned some lessons from their successes and failures about how to present these kinds of games, but no matter what, the industry will be watching these games.
