The Guerilla Tactics School facility.

Guerilla Tactics School is a facility that allows you to train your soldiers from the Rookie "class" into one of the four available soldier classes, giving you a lot more freedom and allowing you to create your own rooster, instead of ending up with 15 sharpshooters.

Aside from that, you can complete a number of upgrades here as well, increasing the effectiveness of your soldiers on the battlefield, as well as allowing you to enlarge your strike team from 4 soldiers to 6.

This is one of the facilities that should be built as early as possible, so that your team will quickly grow.

Vengeance	any soldier with the rank of Lieutenant	100x Supplies	If a soldier is killed, or critically wounded, all your remaining soldiers gain a random tactical bonus, which increases their effectiveness on the battlefield. The effect lasts two rounds.
Integrated Warfare	any soldier with the rank of Captain	150x Supplies	Increases the bonuses given to your soldiers via the Personal Combat Sims (PCS).
Squad Size II	any soldier with the rank of Captain	75x Supplies	Increases the size of a player's team from 5 to 6 soldiers.
Stay With Me	any soldier with the rank of Major	150x Supplies	Soldiers will be more likely to bleed out than to die after receiving a critical wound.
Grenadier Biggest Booms	Grenadier with the rank of Captain	75x Supplies	Explosives can now deal critical damage. The effect is exclusive to Grenadier-class soldiers.
Ranger Hunter's Instinct	Ranger with the rank of Captain	75x Supplies	Attacks against flanked enemies deal 3 additional points of damage. The effect is exclusive to Ranger-class soldiers.
Sharpshooter Deadshot	Sharpshooter with the rank of Captain	75x Supplies	Additional 10% Chance to critically hit enemies. The effect is exclusive to Sharpshooter-class soldiers.
Specialist Cool Under Pressure	Specialist with the rank of Captain	75x Supplies	Gives +10 to aim and +10% to critically hit enemies when taking overwatch and reaction shots. The effect is exclusive to Specialist-class soldiers.

The most important upgrades, which should be purchases as early as possible, are:

Squad Size I and II - you must increase your team size to 6 soldiers as quickly as possible.
Vulture - an additional item dropped whenever an enemy happens to drop something increases the chances of getting an Elerium Core, which is required to perform a great deal of projects, as well as gives you the opportunity to upgrade the equipment of your soldiers.
Wet Work - +25% to experience gained means quicker advancing through the ranks, which in turns makes your team a lot stronger.
Lightning Strike - an upgrade that is extremely important during a limited number of missions, like the one with recapturing a transmitter, or saving / capturing a VIP.
