In some countries (, Italy) you have to pay for highways and from time to time you will see a gate. Drive slowly to the barrier and park on a green icon. Next confirm your ([Enter] by default). Sometimes the fee is charged. Sometimes you only take a ticket and you pay when leaving the highway.
