ETS2: TruckersMP application

TruckersMP free app to play the multiplayer mode. This is an official tool created with help of the developers. It s both ETS 2 and ATS. It uses its own servers that host thousands of players from all around the world. Visit "https://truckersmp.com/" and the mod from the main page by clicking on the green button. You can also create an in World of Trucks but this step isn't required.

TruckersMP has an update system activates upon starting the modification. There is a possibility that your game may be up to date but the modification can be still in its older version.

In the upper left window of the app you can see the currently ed versions of the game. If the app isn't up to date then you will see the update button in the bottom right corner of the screen (it replaces the run button).

But what about a situation when the game received an update but the application is still in the older version? Go to the Properties (Library tab in Steam) and select "Betas" tab. There, you can choose non-standard versions of the game (older or beta).

Select a server on which you want to play. Choose your location (continent) to get a lowest possible ping (high ping may disconnect you from a server). Visit TruckersMP website to learn more about the servers. You can a server only when its queue is shorter than 200 people.

After logging in you can choose your profile (you can use the same one for both multi and single player modes). However, you start with "Ghost Mode" that lasts a few seconds (other vehicles will go through you).

1. To run the game, you need to own a legal copy of the game and activated it on your Steam profile;
2. You can only have one TruckersMP per one Steam (so avoid getting banned);
3. You can run the game with your Steam in Offline mode (however, you won't be able to see your friends, marked in green, in the game);
4. TruckersMP doesn't work when you are using "Library Sharing" option in Steam;
5. You can't a server if you have other modifications than the original DLC and/or mods that are authorized by the istration (e.g. a mod that add snowing effect during winter).
