Age of History 3 is the third installment in a series of turn-based grand strategy games originating from 2014. Like the previous installments, it was created by an indie developer Lukasz Jakowski.

Mechanics

Like the previous games, Age of History 3 tasks us with leading our chosen nation through subsequent historical periods, from the beginnings of civilization to far future. Each nation has its own strengths and weaknesses which must be taken into to dominate other countries.

The game is turn-based. The player must run the entire nation while assisted by faithful advisors.

We must take care of the economy, gather resources, construct buildings and research new technologies. We must also establish laws and handle religious matters. Handling relations with other civilizations is just as important. Still, no matter how skilled we are at diplomacy, sooner or later we'll have to go to war.
