An original arcade and adventure game, allowing us to control a bee living in a large metropolis. While having fun, we carry out missions in which we help our swarm to survive in the city park. The title contains educational elements and also has several game modes, including a cooperative game.
Bee Simulator is an original arcade and adventure production, which has been enriched with educational elements. We play as a bee. VARSAV Game Studios studio in Warsaw is responsible for creating the game. Besides games, the team also deals with industry consulting and developing VR technologies.
Bee Simulator takes place in a vast park in the heart of a metropolis, modeled on the famous New York Central Park. We play as an ordinary worker bee. Our task is to help the swarm in building a colony, which is threatened by people planning to cut down the tree with the beehive. The brave insect receives orders from the queen herself and begins a mission, which is the first step on the way to save its family.
Bee Simulator is an arcade game in which we can freely control the bee and explore a large map depicting an urban park. The action is presented from the third-person perspective. The controls have been simplified so that even inexperienced players can cope with moving in 3D space. The production was created with children and their parents in mind. The game contains many educational elements thanks to which players can learn more about the customs and biology of bees.
During the game, we have a unique opportunity to see the world from the perspective of an insect. The queen orders us to take part in many activities such as racing, collecting pollen and dancing in the air. We can also interact with the environment, including people, animals, and other insects. From time to time, we are forced to use our sting to defend ourselves against aggressors such as wasps.
The developers have prepared three game modes. The first is a campaign in which we get to know the next chapters of the history of our beehive and we are led by the hand when the game introduces us to the new mechanics of the game. Exploration mode allows us to freely explore the map of the world without focusing on the story campaign. The last variant of the game is a multiplayer mode, in which we can play on a shared screen or online. The participants of the game are transferred to a completely new map, prepared for their possible cooperation or competition.
Bee Simulator offers realistic three-dimensional graphics. The music in the game was composed by Mikolaj Stroinski, who previously worked on, among others, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Game Ratings for Bee Simulator Video Game.
Nintendo Life: 5 / 10 by Jason Brown
Bee Simulator is a surprisingly thoughtful game with bags of charm to spare, a wonderful soundtrack and a reasonably detailed world to explore. However, the experience is seriously soured by the sensitive controls, along with the punishing – and very frustrating – racing segments. A few visual and technical problems crop up as well, which – when added to the game's brevity and distinct lack of content (especially for this asking price) – all conspire to make Bee Simulator a much less successful undertaking that it could have been.
Checkpoint Gaming: by Ed Fetahovic
Bee Simulator’s visually stunning scenes should undoubtedly be appreciated. Whilst more effort could have been made to make the game more dynamic and exciting, I can’t deny the game succeeds in providing an interactive education system that would be a real win for younger audiences.
Windows Central: 2.5 / 5 by Jennifer Locke
Bee Simulator is fun for a short time, but won't keep people's attention for long. Its charm can't save it from boredom. When you throw in the price tag, it's tough to recommend.
