In Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery we take on the role of a young, aspiring artist who is trying to complete her life's work. In the course of the game we get to know the girl better, who gives vent to her emotions, memories and desires through her paintings.

Mechanics

In Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery we observe the action from a first person perspective (FPP). The gameplay is slow-paced and focuses mainly on painting. The game lets us guide the protagonist's, who, holding a pencil, draws a sketch and with the help of a brush and paints transforms it into a beautiful painting. During breaks from work on her life's masterpiece, we can indulge in everyday activities - ire the paintings, watch life go by outside the window, make coffee or prepare meals. As the story of our protégée has a second meaning, with time we start to learn more and more about her.

Technical aspects

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery features colorful, hand-crafted graphics of high quality, inspired by the works of the Ghibli studio. The game is accompanied by a calm, almost melancholic soundtrack.
