Last Day of June for PC, PS4 and SWITCH is a moving adventure game by Ovosonico, known from the 2014 PlayStation Vita game Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, as well as Steven Wilson, the founder of Porcupine Tree, and Jessica Cope, who directed Metallica's music video for “Here Comes Revenge.”
Plot
The game tells the story of Carl and June. One day, the couple goes for a trip to a lake, but they end up in a car accident, which results in June's death. After the tragic event, Carl discovers that he can travel in time, using June's paintings. He decided to change the course of events and save his beloved one, but he also has to bear the consequences of his choices.
Mechanics
The gameplay focuses mostly on discovering the story, although you are more than just a ive observer. Your task is exploring locations and finding places where you can change something. Sometimes you have to solve a relatively easy puzzle and make a choice that will affect the future events. Unfortunately, your decision often can have negative repercussions.
