Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot

Mechanics

The gameplay in Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot does not differ significantly from what we know from the base gamr. We are still dealing with a first-person shooter, in which the mainstay of the game is to eliminate opponents, level up our characters and gain more and more powerful equipment. The expansion doesn't introduce any new playble characters - we continue to play with one of the heroes known from the base game. To start the DLC, it will be necessary to reach the Sanctuary III ship in the main campaign of Borderlands 3 (opponents and rewards scale to the level of our Vault Hunter).

The expansion introduces enemies and locations associated with the Hyperion corporation and its late president, Handsome Jack. Thus, some of the novelties are based on what we know from the second part of the series, but DLC also introduces completely new things - including powerful bosses to beat. The daredevils who manage to conquer the casino are awaited by treasures, Eridium and completely new, legendary equipment. We can also get cosmetic items - emotes, Echo skins and the like.

Game modes

Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot does not introduce any new gameplay modes into the game. The expansion can be played solo or with others - in a 4-person online or local cooperation mode (the second version of the multiplayer module, however, is available only on consoles).

Technical aspects

Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC does not make any significant changes to the graphics of the base game. However, we ecounter a lot of old-new opponents and locations, whose appearance often resembles the second installment. The game also features tons of characteristic Borderlands humor.
