A multiplayer action game in which we sit on dragons (or rather wyverns) and take part in spectacular skirmishes. Century: The Age of Ashes focuses on team rivalry. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model.
Century: Age of Ashes is a multiplayer action game inspired by popular hero shooters. The game, which takes us on a journey to a war-torn fantasy world, was developed by an independent Playwing studio and is distributed in a free-to-play model.
In Century: Age of Ashes we observe the action from a third person perspective (TPP). The players ride the wyverns here (although these reptiles have not four but two legs, the authors mistakenly call them dragons) and take part in spectacular skirmishes. The developers give to us a wide range of winged creatures, such as Windguard, who protects allies and confuses enemies, Marauder who specializes in the elimination of targets and Phantom who can sets traps and act in hiding. As we make progress, we gain experience points, which we exchange for modifications for our wyverns and their riders; these extras can also be purchased for real money. The battles are dynamic, and during them it is important to show dexterity and reflexes as well as to choose the right profession and tactics.
Century: The Age of Ashes features a number of game modes based on team competition. Carnage is a classic team Deathmatch for two teams, in Survival three groups of six fight for survival, while Raid is a variation on Capture the Flag, where after capturing the flag we circle the arena with it, flying through special checkpoints.
Century: Age of Ashes offers high quality graphic design.

Century: Age of Ashes deserves to be recognized for its polish and stellar execution from day one and is definitely a game that fans of fast-paced and energetic PvP should keep an eye on.

Century: Age of Ashes has built a fantastic groundwork that, even months down the line, is worth investing time into. If Playwing could find a way to patch up holes in the new experience, add a few new maps and modes by the end of Year 1, and pump up the player base, this would be one of the easiest recommendations I could make. As it stands though, it's a very tentative thumbs up from VGG. You might need to invest way more time than you might be interested in to get to the best of it, and that might be a hard sell, but I promise you there's something great waiting for you inside this rough and scaly surface.

Century: Age of Ashes from Playwing is a good free-to-play game. It is gorgeous, easy to pick up and go, and has some competitive charm to it. The microtransactions and the thin amount of variety in the game might detour some from extending their time with dragon battling, but I think it’s certainly worth a look.
