A remastered version of Red Alert, a classic RTS from the mid-1990s, which is considered one of the fathers of the genre, and the second installment of the legendary Command & Conquer cycle. The game has a completely new audiovisual setting while maintaining the key elements of the original gameplay.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Remastered is a remastered version of the classic strategy, which was one of the first representatives of the RTS genre. The original Command & Conquer series and expanded the ideas of its predecessor, introducing many interesting improvements to the RTS formula, which were later copied by countless followers.
The remaster was developed by Petroglyph Games studio, one of the few developers in the industry still specializing in classic RTS. The studio's achievements include 8-bit Armies. The game was under the care of key creators of Command & Conquer, who moved from Westwood Games to Petroglyph years ago. The project was led by Joe Bostic, father of the series and the lead programist of the original, Steve Tall, programist of Red Alert as well as Ted Morris, the first fan community manager. They were also accompanied by Frank Klepacki, a sound producer and composer of the series soundtrack who worked on it for many years.
In 1946, Albert Einstein has discovered how to move in time and decided to prevent the outbreak of World War II. He ends up in 1924 and erases Adolf Hitler from the pages of history. However, his actions do not bring the world the desired peace. Joseph Stalin uses the favorable geopolitical situation to build a powerful empire. After the seizure of China, he launches an attack on Europe. The countries of the Old Continent forces in an attempt to stop the invasion. There is a conflict on an unprecedented scale. The authors have prepared two separate storyline paths, which players can get to know by choosing one of the sides of the conflict.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Remastered is based on rules well-known from other representatives of the genre. The primary task of players during most missions is to manage their resources in such a way as to develop their base and military power, and then destroy the enemy present on the map. Occasionally, targets change, forcing us to win by using a certain number of troops or rescuing a designated person. Both sides of the conflict have unique buildings and units that have different strengths and require different strategies. The Soviets are less mobile, but stronger and more dangerous at a close distance, while the Allies rely on the speed of movement of the army and easily gain an advantage on the water.
In addition to the campaign mode, in which players can complete several missions for each side, there is also a multiplayer mode, where players can compete in tactical battles over the Internet. It is worth mentioning that the remaster has full content of The Aftermath add-ons, which offer dozens of new missions and maps, as well as several additional combat units and new gameplay solutions.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Remastered has a fully refreshed audiovisual setting that preserves the appearance and atmosphere of the original. Units and surroundings were fully reconstructed using original two-dimensional sprites and designs. The game s modern screen resolutions, including 4K.

The fan-made campaign called From the Ashes, designed for Command & Conquer: Red Alert Remastered is finally complete. The new version of the project offers all sixteen missions planned by the authors.
