Mechanics

In Content Warning we watch the action from the first-person perspective (FPP). The adventure leads us through diverse, yet equally dark and terrifying locations, which we reach in a diving bell. During the game, we travel through these places and investigate their secrets, recording our actions with a camera in our hands. It's worth ing about the depleting oxygen supply and the camera batteries running out. We must always evacuate in time.

The places we visit are full of dangers in the form of ghosts, monsters and other terrifying creatures. This means that we must constantly be on our guard. Our heroes cannot fight, and when they come face to face with the enemy, they have no choice but to flee... or wait for the situation to develop, in the name of getting the best footage. Playing dangerously usually ends tragically for the protagonists, but it is a sacrifice that their viewers are certainly ready for.

After safely returning to the base, all that remains for us to do is to publish our film on SpookTube and watch the view counter increase. The more terrifying scenes we manage to record, the more popular our material will be. Taking risks is worth it, because more views mean higher advertising revenues. All the money earned can be used to purchase higher quality equipment, which in turn allows us to record increasingly better films.

Game modes

Content Warning can only be played online, in cooperative mode for 2-4 players. The game allows us to communicate with other participants through voice chat, and we can stand out among our companions using emoticons visible on the viewfinders of our suits.

The graphic design of Content Warning is maintained in a cartoon style.

Content Warning was available for free for the first 24 hours of release. Every Steam could add it to their collection forever.
