An action platformer in which we play the role of a ninja warrior trying to stop a robot invasion of Mekacity. The pillar of the gameplay in Cyber Shadow is the combat against hordes of adversaries, led by powerful bosses and other ninja warriors.
Cyber Shadow is an action platformer game, which draws inspiration from the achievements of 8-bit era classics. The production was developed by the independent studio Mechanical Head, and its release was taken care of by Yacht Club Games.
Cyber Shadow takes us to a metropolis named Mekacity, which has been attacked by sinister machines. The main character of the game is Shadow - a ninja warrior trying to discover the real reasons behind the invasion and to stop his synthetic adversaries.
In Cyber Shadow the action is shown from the side. While travelling through various locations, we mainly deal with numerous platformer sections and environmental traps and the elimination of hordes of enemies. The key to success in battles is not only to dish out quick attacks but also to avoid hostile blows and to get execute swift counterattacks.
In addition to ordinary enemies who are relatively easy to defeat, we are faced with more demanding bosses, that include powerful combat machines and ninja robots. Throughout his adventure, Shadow rescues of his clan who teach him new skills, allowing him to face stronger opponents over time.
The two-dimensional graphics of the Cyber Shadow game were made in a pixel art technique. The old-school design is complemented by a dynamic, chiptune soundtrack.

Game Ratings for Cyber Shadow Video Game.
PC Gamer: 75 / 100 by Stacey Henley
Cyber Shadow isn't the peak of the genre, but it's a shuriken's throw away.
IGN: 8 / 10 by Mitchell Saltzman
Cyber Shadow's excellent gameplay, level design, variety, and music make it a great modernization of the classic Ninja Gaiden formula.
Destructoid: 7.5 / 10 by Chris Carter
Cyber Shadow is a bit disted at times, but right when it's chugging, it begins to crescendo and pick back up again. Despite the modern design concessions (which are within reason and don't betray the core of the game) it's not going to appeal to everyone, and that's OK. Even with a few misgivings, I'm anxious to see this world explored again with the power of hindsight.
