What’s interesting, during the fights the player doesn’t have full control of the team, he can only select targets for their attacks and activate special abilities.

Plot

As the title suggests, the game takes place in the universe of DC Comics. This enables the player to encounter the most famous characters of that world and to see well known locations like Metropolis and Gotham City.

The plot revolves around the threat that endangers the whole Earth. Its source is Nekron, the lord of death who is one of the most powerful villains of DC Comics. What’s worse, he is accompanied by an army of deadly robots known as Manhunters.

Mechanics

DC Legends released on AND and iOS is a traditional battle RPG created in the style that is popular on mobile platforms. The game focuses on battles played in real time. The player doesn’t have full control over the movement of his team and he only selects which character should attack who, and when to activate special skills.

Collecting the characters is the main feature of the game. One can find all the most famous characters of DC Comics here, both heroes and villains. The developers decided not to constrain the team creation and if the player wants to, he can make a team consisting of Batman and Joker, or Superman and Lex Luthor. Each character has unique traits, abilities and development trees. As the game progresses, the collection of characters gradually increases and its become more and more powerful thanks to the gathered experience points.

Game modes

The game offers long singleplayer campaign that consists of many missions and expanded scenario. The title also offers multiplayer mode that enables the player’s team to face groups created by other players.
