Mechanics

The story told in Dordogne takes place on two time planes. As a ten-year-old Mimi we travel through a picturesque region and learn its secrets. The girl walks in the forest, climbs hills, even kayaking or trying her hand at cave exploration. The activities she performs have an impact on the future. The adult Mimi is already visiting her grandmother's house, reading the news she left behind and ing her childhood, looking at the collected materials in the form of photographs, recordings and handwritten notes that have been included in her personal diary. What form the personal diary will take depends largely on our actions. Moreover, in both cases during the game we have to solve various puzzles that require perceptiveness and sometimes also patience.

Technical aspects

The graphic design of Dordogne was made in the original technique, which makes it similar to a painting painted with watercolors. The game is extremely colourful and pleasant to the eye.
