Etherborn is a third-person, three-dimensional platform and logic game, whose action is set in a surreal world inspired by modern art. Altered Matter studio is responsible for the game.

Story

In Etherborn we play a silent being that appeared in the world, hearing a mysterious voice calling him. The protagonist embarks on a journey to understand his own nature.

Mechanics

In the game from Altered Matter we explore complex three-dimensional levels, solving puzzles based on gravity - it changes with the location of our character. Depending on the situation, this enables us to walk on the walls or levitate. In addition, by pressing special buttons, we change the structure of the location and move the platforms, on which we can climb. Our goal is always to reach the end of a given level. We observe our hero from the perspective of the camera following him, which facilitates orientation on the board with changing gravitation.

Technical aspects

Etherborn features interestingly designed three-dimensional visuals, which make a very good impression. The artistic style is based on clearly contrasting colors, which gives it an unusual atmosphere, reminiscent of a fairy tale or a painting. The gameplay is accompanied by a dynamic, atmospheric soundtrack.
