Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne for PC, AND and iOS continues Blizzard’s policy of not releaseing small Adventure DLCs and focusing on the bigger ones. We get a set of 135 cards inspired by the Lich King’s army and the theme of death, including nine cards of a completely new type – Hero Cards. After using them, our hero changes into a Death Knight, gets a new portrait, war cry, ability, and a few points of armour which allows us to change our playstyle. The expansion also introduces many minions with the Agony ability that activates when they are destroyed.

The sixth expansion also comes with the Lifesteal ability for our minions. Cards that have it may heal our hero by attacking our enemies (the amount of restored HP is equal to the minion’s damage). We also get a new battlefield inspired by the Lich King’s Icecrown Citadel. We can face the undead ruler during the missions, one of the novelties that come with Kinghts of the Frozen Throne. Unlike the previous Adventures and class challenges, missions are completely free and have only one difficulty level slightly higher than normal. The eight missions available in the expansion will give us the opportunity to face the forces of the Plague, including Sindragosa, Lord Marrowgar, and the Lich King himself. In addition to that, the final battle can look slightly different depending on what class we are playing.
