Hearthstone: Madness at the Darkmoon Faire

Mechanics

As with the previous add-ons, Madness at the Darkmoon Faire introduces 135 new cards to Hearthstone. These included refreshed versions of the Old Gods from the earlier expansion and related artifacts. There are also new mechanic. This time it is a Corrupt that will strengthen the cards with this keyword after playing the card with the higher cost. Another hero also arrived: N'Zoth.

Game modes

With the debut of the add-on Madness at the Darkmoon Fairein Hearthstone, a new game mode appeared: Duels. This is a multiplayer variation on underground expeditions within Adventures. At the beginning we choose a hero, a unique power and a treasure, and then we create a deck consisting of 15 cards. Then we face up to the other players. At the end of the match we get additional healing and three sets of cards to choose from, and from time to time there will be an opportunity to get a huge treasure. The more clashes we win, the more points we gain in the mode rating.

Technical aspects

The expansion does not introduce any changes to the basic graphic design of Hearthstone. We get a lot of new pictures on the cards and a new layout of the game board.
