Il-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I is another part of the well-known flight simulator series. This production differs from previous games because it is set in World War I, not World War II. 777 Studios and 1C are responsible for the creation of this title.
The First World War (the Great War, as it was called at that time) took place between 1914-1918 and it involved the so-called central states (otherwise known as the "Tripartite", which included Austria-Hungary and , with the of Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire) and entente (which consisted of Great Britain, Russia, , Serbia, Italy, Japan, and the United States). The conflict ended with the victory of the entente and claimed 14 million human lives.
Il-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I is an advanced flight simulator set in the First World War. The game offers faithfully reconstructed battles and a wide selection of planes known from that conflict. The machines available in the game are SPAD 13 C.1, Sopwith Dolphin, Sopwith Camel, RAF S.E.5a, Bristol Fighter, Albatros D.Va, Fokker Dr.1, Fokker DVII, Pfalz D.IIIa, Halberstadt CL.II
Il-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I contains a large, 100 km2 map set in . You will find here authentic airports, towns, and villages. The map also includes the so-called no-man's-land - the area on the western front located between the trenches of central states and the entente.
Il-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus - Volume I offers both single and multiplayer modes, and the latter also allows us to play in cooperation.
