Lakeburg Legacies

The key mechanic of the game is influencing the love lives of Lakeburg's people, just like in a life sim. With the help of a mystic, Tundra, we must help them find a perfect love interest. This isn't done only out of the goodness of our hearts, but to safeguard the village's future. Matchmaking becomes much simpler if both characters have similar preferences (for example, both enjoying public executions and disliking poetry). They should also have positive traits and be predispositioned for our desired professions, as their children can inherit them (all couples can have children, regardless of gender). This will let us ensure a steady flow of local citizens after a few generations . Some can even end up getting together with nobles, becoming rather important within the kingdom.

Lakeburg Legacies also features randomly occuring problems - our people tend to argue, have affairs and break up, which can disrupt even the strongest communities. A partner who's been cheated on won't work alongside their partner, let alone their lover. We must quickly react to such situations and solve them, for example, transfer those people so they don't need to work together.

Each playthrough of the game is slightly different due to procedurally generated villagers and events.
