Gameplay

Legendary: The Box for PS3 and X360 is a typical arcade shooter. The player's task is to fight groups of monsters while traversing large city areas. Apart from the streets, the protagonist visits different kinds of interiors as well, including interestingly designed churches for example. The atmosphere is dark, and the player can smell the apocalypse in the virtual air. The story is set in present-day times, thus the players will not encounter any lasers or plasma cannons – the weapons resemble modern rifles instead. Importantly, the protagonist is not on his own in the struggle against the monsters - he is ed by a team of comrades. Apart from the story campaign, the game features multiplayer.

In of the visuals, the game stands out with interestingly designed monster models. Each of the enemies has their separate rage meter telling the player what can be expected of them. For example, after taking a few accurate shots, a werewolf is not weaker, but infuriated enough to become faster and stronger – consequently, more dangerous.
