An expansion for the mech simulator from Piranha Games studio. MechWarrior 5: Clans - Ghost Bear: Flash Storm brings a new story campaign, as well as 4 new OmniMechs and 4 BattleMechs. We can also command the Elementals and rely on new MechLab functions.
MechWarrior 5: Clans - Ghost Bear: Flash Storm is an expansion to the science fiction simulation game released in October 2024, allowing us to take control of a powerful mech. The creators behind the development of this add-on are the same as those of the base game MechWarrior 5: Clans - it is the Canadian studio Piranha Games.
The biggest novelty introduced in MechWarrior 5: Clans - Ghost Bear: Flash Storm is the story campaign. The leading role in it is played by the elite unit Silveroot Keshik, which steps into action, wanting to prove the strength of the Ghost Bear clan and regain its lost glory, as well as take the lead in the race to Terra.
The new campaign gives us the opportunity to visit the planet Alshain, a world filled with mech factories and orbital shipyards, as well as to face an unseen boss - Iron Talon.
In addition, the expansion brings 4 OmniMechs (Night Gyr, Ebon Jaguar, Fire Moth, Huntsman) and 4 BattleMechs (Kodiak, Jenner IIC, Hunchback IIC, Rifleman IIC). The add-on also allows us to take command of the Elementals (soldiers equipped with power armor) and fight enemies in space by issuing orders to Rook and his team.
New functions of MechLab were expanded for the purpose of this DLC, including the possibility of exchanging engines in individual mechs.
MechWarrior 5: Clans - Ghost Bear: Flash Storm is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of the game MechWarrior 5: Clans.
