Mercenary Ops

Mercenary Ops is a TPP shooter that takes us to a slightly futuristic universe. The production focuses mainly on multiplayer gameplay. The game is a bit like Counter-Strike, but for the sake of variety, the creators added a few elements characteristic of the Gears of War series (such as perspective and the system of hiding behind obstacles).

The mechanics of the game does not differ too much from other network shooters. The view from the third person allows us to have a better overview of the situation on the battlefield and to check what is happening just around the corner. During the skirmishes we can carry a maximum of two weapons at the same time, but the heavier the equipment we choose, the slower we move. So the tactical element creeps in, because you have to choose your equipment carefully before each round. It is worth noting that the game is also influenced by weather effects (e.g. a snow blizzard will limit visibility).
