Metal Slug: Awakening

Metal Slug Code: J is a new version of the classic shooter cycle designed especially for mobile devices. This time the game was not developed by the Japanese SNK studio known from previous releases. As a developer, it was replaced by the Chinese team TiMi Studios, known for Pokémon Unite. The game uses a free-to-play model with micropayments.

Mechanics

The game adapts to the mobile format the classic features. So we get a platformer shooter. The gameplay is two-dimensional and our task is to move to the right side of the screen and eliminate hordes of enemies with a rich arsenal. The player uses various types of guns, rifles, flamethrowers and grenades.
