The Two Colonels is the first story expansion to the FPS titled Metro Exodus. The DLC was developed by the devs of the basic version of the game, i.e. 4A Games studio.

Plot

Metro Exodus: The Two Colonels takes place in Novosibirsk, almost a year before Artyom and his team visited the city. The main character is Colonel Chlebnikov, the father of little Kirill. The underground bastion of mankind is gradually collapsing - not only is the green substance providing its inhabitants with radiation protection beginning to run out, but the outpost is also constantly being attacked by hordes of mutants. To ensure the survival of his son and other survivors, the protagonist goes on an expedition, hoping to find a way for the colony to survive.

TechRaptor: 7 / 10 by Anson Chan

While the exploration and brief bursts of combat in The Two Colonels DLC could be expanded upon, Colonel Khlebnikov's character development makes Artyom seem dull by comparison

Full Review

GamingBolt: 6 / 10 by Shubhankar Parijat

The Two Colonels is a solid piece of storytelling, but entirely forgettable in all other ways.

Windows Central: 5 / 5 by Brendan Lowry

Unless you aren't a fan of Metro's original gameplay formula, you should absolutely pick yourself up this DLC.
