Might and Magic: Swords of Xeen is an extension to this RPG, created on the World of Xeen engine. However, it received professional and was officially approved by the creators of the series.
In the storyline layer, Swords of Xeen introduces a completely new adventure into the game, which takes place in the land adjacent to the one known from the original. The gateway to it leads through magical pyramids, which can be found among the ruins of Greyhaven. It turns out that the Havec land is threatened with a deadly danger from unknown evil. The player's task will of course be to find and destroy the enemy threatening it.
From the technical point of view, the game is no different from the World of Xeen, on which it was created. Producers have only been tempted to add a few new graphic effects. Despite the huge size of the map introduced in addition, the fun itself lasts much shorter than in the basic scenarios, while the game is characterized by a very high degree of difficulty. With the help of less experienced players comes fortunately the famous mistake in the script, which allows to avoid many skirmishes, escaping the side roads.
Unfortunately, Swords of Xeen has not been released on its own. The game was added as a bonus to the 1995 release of the Might and Magic Trilogy package, including the III, IV and V part of the saga. It is also available in several other anthologies from the game world.
